Jake Strickland, P.E., is currently the Senior Vice President of Procurement - Power at Kiewit, overseeing the Solar PV market, including project scoping, contracting negotiations, and risk management. Previously, they held positions at Kiewit Power Engineers, where they managed electrical and controls engineers and led project development for various EPC Power Projects. Jake's career began with a part-time engineering role at Omaha Public Power District, followed by experiences at Open Systems International and Cargill as a Project Engineer and Maintenance & Controls Engineer, respectively. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power and Controls from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
