Mihir Patel

Mihir Patel, P.E., is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the substation and transmission sectors. Currently serving as the Regional Engineering Director at Kiewit since August 2021, Mihir oversees the management and growth of engineering groups in the East Region, leading a team of over 70 professionals across multiple offices. Responsibilities include resource allocation, project management, and business development for engineering projects. Prior to this role, Mihir held the position of Regional Engineering Manager at Kiewit, directing a team in Raleigh, NC. Mihir also served as the Director of Engineering at Dashiell Corporation, managing the engineering department and overseeing EPC projects. Previous experience includes roles at Black & Veatch as a Project Engineer and Electrical Engineer, and a short stint as a Protection Engineer at National Grid. Mihir holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree from Florida Institute of Technology.
