Chris Gough

Vice President, Aerospace Engineering Group at KIHOMAC, INC.

Chris Gough has extensive work experience in both the private and public sectors. Chris served as the Vice President of the Aerospace Engineering Group at KIHOMAC, where they led a team of 70 professionals in designing and manufacturing complex aerospace and medical products. Chris was responsible for all aspects of the group's operations, including IR&D, business development, execution, and life-cycle management. During their tenure, they implemented quality controls, LEAN initiatives, and Six Sigma methodologies, as well as on-boarded an ERP system and pursued composite NADCAP certification.

Prior to their role at KIHOMAC, Chris Gough served in the US Air Force as the Commander of the Utah Test & Training Range. In this position, they oversaw the largest overland weapons test range in the Department of Defense, which covered 19,000 square miles of Special Use Airspace and over 2.6 million acres of land. Chris successfully collaborated with Utah/Nevada stakeholders to pass legislation granting increased access to public lands for enhanced weapon tests.

Chris Gough has a Bachelor's degree in Human Factors Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy, which they obtained from 1987 to 1991. Chris also has a Master's degree in National Security Affairs from the Naval Postgraduate School, which they obtained from 2005 to 2006. In addition, Chris has certifications as an Airline Transport Pilot, F-16 Instructor & Evaluator, Academic Instructor, NVG Platform Instructor, and MQ-9 Instructor and Evaluator, Academic Instructor.
