Quang Luong

Quang Luong has a diverse work experience in the fields of information security, cybersecurity, and engineering. Quang currently serves as the Director of Information Security at KIHOMAC, where they are responsible for ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies and regulations. Additionally, they utilize artificial intelligence to improve and automate cybersecurity documentation and assessments.

Prior to their current role, Quang was the Cybersecurity, AI, & DevSecOps Technical Lead and Subject Matter Expert (SME) at KIHOMAC. In this position, they guided and implemented technical solutions for the Department of Defense (DoD) platforms, focusing on cybersecurity and DevSecOps. Quang also played a key role in developing win strategies for RFPs and RFIs, and led the migration of IT to DevSecOps capability to modernize development operations.

Before joining KIHOMAC, Quang gained valuable experience in the United States Air Force. Quang served as a Staff Avionics, Electrical, and Cybersecurity Engineer for the C-5 program, where they contributed to the development and maintenance of avionics systems. Quang also held the position of Lead IV&V Systems Engineer, where they oversaw the verification and validation of C-5 systems.

Quang Luong obtained a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Mercer University from 2010 to 2014. They also obtained a Master's degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering from the same institution from 2001 to 2006. In terms of certifications, Quang has obtained various certifications in fields such as public speaking, data analytics, Kubernetes administration and security, DISA services, cloud security, and information systems security between 2017 and 2023.
