Christine Janev

Christine Janev, M.A., RP, RSW, is an experienced mental health professional with a diverse background in therapy and social work. Currently an EFAP Mental Health Therapist at Medaca Health Group, Christine focuses on supporting employees with mental health challenges and facilitating their return to work. Other roles include providing therapeutic services at CloudMD and CBT Associates | MindBeacon Group, where a CBT model is primarily utilized. Christine also serves as a Registered Social Worker at Metabolic Syndrome Canada and My Viva Inc., collaborating with health professionals to support individuals with chronic diseases. As the CEO of Burlington Psychotherapy, Christine aids clients in overcoming emotional difficulties such as depression and anxiety. Previous experience includes work with the Alzheimer Society in multiple capacities, providing essential support to individuals and families affected by dementia. Christine holds a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, along with several relevant certifications and degrees.
