Ashley Lawrence

Ashley Lawrence has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ashley began their career at IBM as a Market Analyst, analyzing market trends and assisting with pricing strategies. Ashley then moved on to become a Certified IBM Consultant, where they redesigned the information security organization for a financial services firm and performed security risk assessments. From there, Ashley worked as a Summer Associate at MMV Financial, conducting due diligence on potential investment opportunities. Ashley also served as a Venture Capital Associate at EdgeStone Capital Partners, analyzing technology trends and investment opportunities.

In 2007, Ashley joined eBay Inc. as a Manager, Business Intelligence, focusing on improving seller economics and driving trade on eBay. Ashley then became a Sr. Analytics Manager, developing strategies to increase trade between buyers and sellers in different countries.

Ashley later joined Kijiji Canada as the Head of Strategy and Analytics, where they partnered with the country manager to develop Canada's long-term strategic priorities and led the monetization and optimization of key revenue streams. Ashley then became the CFO of Kijiji, responsible for the finance, strategy, and analytics team.

In 2019, Ashley joined eBay Classifieds Group / Adevinta as the Finance Director for the International Markets and Advertising Center of Excellence. In this role, they oversaw the finance operations for international markets and the advertising center of excellence.

Throughout their career, Ashley has demonstrated strong leadership skills, extensive experience in analytics and data analysis, and a solid understanding of finance and strategy. Ashley is a member of various management teams and leadership communities.

Ashley Lawrence completed an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management from 2004 to 2006, with a major in Finance, Management & Strategy, and Marketing. Prior to that, from 1995 to 2000, Ashley studied Industrial (Systems) Engineering, specializing in Operations Research, and obtained a B.A.Sc. degree from the University of Toronto.
