Yubin Liao

Yubin Liao is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in designing and building cloud-based solutions and machine learning pipelines. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer and tech lead at Kijiji Canada since March 2024, Yubin is responsible for developing a cloud-based data platform utilizing Google Cloud Platform services and building an event service platform. Prior to this role, Yubin worked at Procore Technologies as a Staff Software Engineer, focusing on machine learning applications and cloud platforms. As a Principal Software Engineer at INDUS.AI, Yubin created software tools for ML operations and CI/CD pipelines. Previous experience includes software development at Volante Systems and the Ontario Public Service, enhancing point-of-sale software and Siebel CRM applications. Yubin holds a BSc in Computer Science from York University and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Hohai University.
