Kevin Mendez, CPA has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting. Kevin began their career at Mendez & Company, P.A., CPA as an Accountant and Tax Preparer from 2007 to 2014. Kevin then worked as a Tax Associate at BDO USA, LLP for a brief period in 2015. Subsequently, they served as a Staff Accountant at TAUBCO from June 2015 to September 2015, and then at Colbert Boue & Associates, LLP from November 2015 to April 2018. Kevin joined Coyo Taco and 1-800-Lucky as an Assistant Controller in April 2018 and worked until January 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Financial Officer at Kiki on the River, starting from January 2020.
Kevin Mendez, CPA obtained a Master of Taxation from Nova Southeastern University in 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Florida International University in 2011. Kevin has additional certifications in Microsoft Excel - Basic & Advanced from GoSkills.com and is also a Certified Fitness Trainer from the International Sports Sciences Association. Kevin Mendez is a Certified Public Accountant.
