Kilburn & Strode
Rupert Mellor is an experienced attorney currently working at Kilburn & Strode since March 2024. Prior to this role, Rupert served as a European Patent Attorney at WP Thompson from May 2018 to February 2024, where responsibilities included acting as a UPC representative and providing expertise as a part-qualified UK patent attorney. Rupert's earlier work includes a significant research role as a Postgraduate Researcher at the National Physical Laboratory, focusing on Nano-Electro-Mechanical Systems and superconducting devices. Additional experience encompasses volunteer work with St John Ambulance and various positions in research and engineering during earlier academic pursuits. Rupert holds a PhD in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics and an MSci in Physics, both from Royal Holloway, University of London.
