Tom Hailes

Tom Hailes is an Associate at Kilburn & Strode since February 2023, serving as a European and UK Patent Attorney as well as a UPC Representative. Previously, Tom worked at Beck Greener LLP from February 2020 to January 2023, focusing on the chemical sector, including materials chemistry and catalysts, while handling patent applications and contentious matters before the European Patent Office. Prior roles include UK and Part-Qualified Patent Attorney at EIP, a Trainee Patent Attorney, and Product Development Scientist at Chromition, where Tom managed research on commercial applications. Academic credentials include an MChem in Chemistry from The University of Manchester and a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University of London.
