Alison McGrath

Alison McGrath has extensive experience in the public and private sectors, currently serving as a Staff Officer at Kilkenny County Council since November 2018, following a role as Assistant Staff Officer. Prior to this, Alison was an Administrative Specialist at Prochem Engineering and the Managing Director of Association HQ, focusing on outsourced association management in the Pharmaceuticals Industry. From 1995 to 2012, Alison held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Kilkenny Chamber of Commerce and supervised a community employment scheme. Alison began their career as a Bank Official at permanent tsb from 1991 to 1994. Educationally, Alison holds a BA Hons Degree and various qualifications in Local Government from the IPA Ireland, along with certificates in Urban Economic Development and Entrepreneurial Development.
