Emergency Services Team

The Emergency Services Team at Kilkenny County Council's Carlow Kilkenny Dog Shelter is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of both animals and staff during emergency situations. Led by the Chief Fire Officer, the team coordinates and executes emergency response plans, provides fire safety training and ensures compliance with safety regulations. The Civil Defence Officer assists in disaster preparedness and civil resilience, while the Senior Fire Officer supports operational readiness and emergency management.
