Owen Jacob

Owen Jacob is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in backend development and team leadership across various organizations. Currently serving as a Golang Backend Engineer at Kiln since November 2024, Owen previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Livestorm from February 2023 to October 2024. Prior roles include Senior Backend Engineer and Backend Engineer at Donut from May 2021 to January 2023, and Payments/Blockchain Team Leader at Sabay Digital Corporation from December 2018 to May 2021. Owen's career began in education as an IT Manager and Systems Analyst and a teacher at CIA FIRST International School from August 2014 to December 2018, following earlier roles at Butterfield Private Bank. Owen holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Queen Mary University of London, earned between 2004 and 2007.
