Aliya Zhamalbekova has over 10 years of work experience. Aliya began their career in 2011 as an Associate Intern at Beijing Jay and Shaw Law Firm. In the same year, they completed an internship with USM, Penang Island, Malaysia, as an AIESEC USM Youth Energy Squad Project, Environmental Protection Intern. In 2012, they worked as a Project Manager at Pan-pacific Management Institute. In 2013, they joined Column Associates China as a Consultant, where they researched, sourced, and managed the full recruitment process of C, SVP, VP, and Director level assignments for multinational and mid-cap companies in Technology. In 2014, they joined Spring Professional as a Principal Consultant and Senior Consultant, Spring Engineering. In 2021, they started working as a Senior Tech Recruiter at Taskforce and as a Client Manager at Kilpatrick Executive Search.
Aliya Zhamalbekova completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Law from Tsinghua University in 2012. Prior to that, they attended Tsinghua University from 2006 to 2008, studying Chinese Language and Literature. Additionally, they obtained a certification in HR as a Business Partner from LinkedIn in October 2022.
