John Werth has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. John started their career in 1986 at Hamilton Sundstrand as a Project Engineer, specializing in designing test equipment for aircraft power system controllers. John then moved on to Bear Automotive in 1989, where they worked as an Analog Design Engineer, designing circuits for automobile interfaces and testing.
In 1991, John joined Creation Technologies as a Senior Project Engineer and gradually progressed to become the Engineering Leader/Program Leader. John was responsible for managing a team of 21 people and overseeing various engineering groups, including Hardware Design, Software Design, PCB and Mechanical CAD, and Product Engineering. Working with a diverse client base, they played a key role in the company's success as a contract electrical manufacturer.
In 2012, John took on the role of Director of Business Development - Design Services at Creation Technologies, where they negotiated and secured over $2M in new design business within a span of six months. John also developed design engineering quotes, presented the company's design services to potential customers, and collaborated with the business development team to attract new production customers.
After their tenure at Creation Technologies, John joined Avigilon in 2016 as a Manufacturing Engineering Manager. During their time there, they successfully managed manufacturing engineering operations before transitioning to their most recent position at Kimball Electronics in 2020. At Kimball Electronics, they serve as the Director of Design and Engineering Services.
Throughout their career, John has consistently showcased their expertise in various aspects of engineering, project management, business development, and leadership.
John Werth has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, which they obtained from 1983 to 1985. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Science degree in Engineering from UW-Waukesha between 1981 and 1983. John completed their high school education at Waukesha South High School, receiving a Diploma between 1978 and 1981.
