Hunter Ulf

Hunter Ulf is the current Chief Operating Officer at Kimball Union Academy. Hunter has held this position for 8 years, during which time they have been responsible for the development and implementation of the Campus Master Plan and Maintenance Plan, as well as vendor relationships, coordination of space utilization, personnel management, budget management, building technologies, sustainability, energy, safety and emergency management, and oversight of facilities staff.

Prior to their current role, Hunter Ulf was a Board Member for the New Hampshire Preservation Alliance for 12 years. Hunter was also a Member Partner for the Better Future Alliance, L3C for 3 years. In this role, they were responsible for the comprehensive planning, design, public communications, and economic development for challenging or under-performing properties.

Before their work with the Better Future Alliance, Hunter Ulf was Principal at UK Architects, PC for 22 years and 1 month. In this role, they were New England Director to the National Board for The American Institute of Architects (AIA) for 3 years. Hunter was also President of AIA New England and AIA Vermont for less than a year each.

Hunter Ulf began their career as a Project Architect for The Architectural Team for 2 years and 1 month. Hunter then became Project Manager at Downing & Leach Architects for 1 year and 8 months before taking on their current role as Chief Operating Officer at Kimball Union Academy.

Hunter Ulf attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 1978 to 1981, where they obtained a B ENVD in architecture. Hunter then attended the University of Denver from 1976 to 1978, where they studied fine arts.
