Zhen Zhang

Zhen Zhang is a highly experienced professional in the field of biology and therapeutics, currently serving as Senior Director at Kimia Therapeutics since September 2024. Previously, Zhen held the position of Senior Director at Ambagon Therapeutics from October 2020 to July 2024, leading the development of innovative molecular glues for targeting difficult proteins and managing a team of 14 in transitioning laboratory facilities. Zhen's earlier roles included Director of Cancer Biology at Vera Therapeutics, where bispecific antibodies were developed, and Senior Scientist at NGM Biopharmaceuticals, focusing on immuno-oncology drug targets. Furthermore, Zhen contributed to significant research at Genentech and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earning a PhD in Genetics from the latter institution and earlier degrees from Fudan University in Genetics.
