Maxwell Chance

Maxwell Chance is a seasoned civil engineer with over 17 years of experience, primarily in the Energy Infrastructure market. Currently serving as a Practice Builder at Kimley-Horn since June 2017, Maxwell has focused on designing and permitting projects across Virginia, West Virginia, and North Carolina. Prior to this role, Maxwell was a Senior Associate at Dewberry, overseeing multiple design teams as a Program/Client Manager. Maxwell's earlier experience includes positions as Project Engineer/Manager and Project Manager at Malcolm Pirnie and R. Stuart Royer & Associates, where notable project work involved water and wastewater treatment plant design and management. Maxwell holds a BS in Civil Engineering with a Math Minor from Virginia Military Institute and completed the LEAD VA program in 2013.
