Shannon Ahartz

Shannon Ahartz has extensive experience in the civil engineering and transportation sectors, currently serving as a Practice Builder for Roadway & Transportation at Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. since March 2003. In this role, Shannon provides leadership and vision for the office, develops and executes business plans, and focuses on recruitment and training programs while leading marketing efforts to secure new work. Prior to this, Shannon worked as a Project Manager at Kirkham Michael from 1990 to 2002, where responsibilities included serving as a Civil/Transportation Engineer in various capacities such as project engineer and team leader. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from South Dakota State University, earned in 1990.
