Shelby Hughes

Shelby Hughes, P.E. is a Civil/Water Resources Engineer currently working as an Associate at Kimley-Horn since January 2014, focusing on water and wastewater design projects. With extensive experience in planning, design, permitting, and construction of utility systems, Shelby has contributed to major projects including integrity testing for force mains and the Kanapaha Water Reclamation Facility’s hazardous waste storage design. Prior experience as a Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern at Gainesville Regional Utilities involved leading AutoCAD efforts, conducting water conservation programs, and performing revenue recovery tasks. Shelby holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida, graduated in 2013.
