Zan Scarfato

Zan Scarfato is a Civil and Environmental Engineering student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, expected to graduate in 2024. Currently serving as an Aviation Production Intern at Kimley-Horn since May 2023, Zan contributed significantly to airport project development through designing plan sheets, creating construction documents, and conducting on-site airport visits. Previously, Zan held the role of President for the Pi Kappa Phi chapter at UNC-Charlotte, leading over 70 members in organizing meetings and events. An earlier experience includes working as an Engineering Intern at The Lane Construction Corporation, where Zan gained exposure to road construction operations. Additional roles include positions as a Front of House/Barista at Amelie's French Bakery and as a Sales Associate at Lowe's Companies, Inc.
