Mitchell Sigler is a geologist with a diverse background in petroleum geology and physical science. Currently employed at Kimmeridge since February 2022, Mitchell previously worked as a physical scientist for the Bureau of Land Management for six months in 2021. Prior experience includes serving as Geologist II at Chesapeake Energy from 2015 to 2020, focusing on the Niobrara Formation in the Powder River Basin and gaining experience with the Mowry, Turner, Sussex, and Teckla Formations, as well as the Haynesville, Bossier, and Barnett formations. In 2014, Mitchell interned in geology at Continental Resources, evaluating leaseholds in the Williston Basin. Educationally, Mitchell holds a Master’s degree in Petroleum Geology from the University of North Dakota and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Colorado State University.
