Connor Smith is the Vice President of Brand and Marketing at Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants. Connor has been with Kimpton since August of 2017 and in their current role, they report to the Chief Creative Officer and manages a team of 20 people responsible for defining and executing global brand strategy and creative across Kimpton's 160+ brands. Connor is directly responsible for driving over $75mm in annual revenue, growing brand awareness, and driving brand affinity via B2C and B2B marketing efforts.

Under Connor's leadership, Kimpton has expanded its brand worldwide, successfully launching in China, Europe, Canada, and South East Asia. Connor has also repositioned Kimpton as a global luxury brand for the millennial traveler, shifting the age of the core Kimpton guest younger. Connor has inspired millennial consumers through brand innovations, including Off the Record, Kimpton's concert series designed to bring people together. As the public face of Kimpton's focus on diversity, Connor has spoken about Kimpton's commitment to inclusion on a tour and in media interviews, landing coverage in NYTimes, People, and Fortune. Connor also oversees Kimpton's music strategy and live music programming. Lastly, Connor leads loyalty at Kimpton, ensuring a strong connection with IHG Rewards club.

Connor Smith's educational career includes a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Vermont in Spanish and Business Administration, as well as a degree from Universidad de Santiago de Compostela. CVU is also included in their educational background.

Connor Smith reports to Mike DeFrino, Chief Executive Officer. They are on a team with Joe Pagone - Vice President, Operations Hotels & Restaurants, Ginny Too - Senior Vice President, People & Culture, and Scott Gingerich - Senior Vice President, Restaurants & Bars.
