Karen Liu

Karen Liu currently serves as a Clinical Social Worker at Kin On, where responsibilities include collaboration with families, nursing home staff, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, as well as conducting psychosocial assessments and overseeing a depression-focused Performance Improvement Plan. Previous experience includes a Community Health Intern position at the FDA, where database development and research assistance were primary tasks, and roles as a teaching assistant and Certified Nursing Assistant at both the University of Maryland and Advanced Nursing + Home Support. Earlier career experiences involved internships and volunteering in healthcare settings, strengthening a background in patient care and research within the health sciences. Karen Liu is pursuing a Master of Science in Health Informatics and Data Science at the University of Pittsburgh, following a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral and Community Health from the University of Maryland.
