Ali Khanafer

Ali Khanafer is a Machine Learning Engineer II at Kinaxis since September 2021, where responsibilities include leading the design of an agentic framework for task automation and enhancing user experience on the Maestro platform. Notable achievements involve collaborating with Databricks to develop multi-index RAG systems, reaching high levels of retrieval recall and accuracy with AI models. Previously, Ali served as a Machine Learning Engineer I at Kinaxis, optimizing feature generation pipelines, and as a Data Science Intern, contributing to demand forecasting models. Ali's early experience includes a Teaching Assistant role at the University of Ottawa and a DevOps Developer position at IBM. Ali holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Software Engineering from the University of Ottawa.
