Arslan Shahid

Arslan Shahid is a knowledgeable Staff ML Engineer at Kinaxis since May 2022, previously serving as a Data Scientist and Software Architect at Ciena from January 2014 to May 2022. During tenure at Ciena, Arslan led the architecture and development of AI-powered applications for network automation, achieving significant advancements in network alarm analysis and cross-layer link discovery using state-of-the-art machine learning techniques. Arslan also played a pivotal role as the lead engineer for the BluePlanet Analytics platform, facilitating intelligent automation and predictive maintenance in web-scale networks. Earlier in the career, Arslan contributed to the development of a highly scalable Network Management System and optimized critical components for improved performance. Arslan holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from McGill University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.
