Ajirioghene Evi is an Independent Consultant at the Centre for Research & Education on Violence Against Women & Children. As a Community Engagement Analyst at the Ontario Association of Children’s Aid Societies, Evi serves as an Equity in Child Welfare Facilitator. Evi also works as a Part-Time Faculty at Wilfrid Laurier University and as the Executive Director at Kind Minds Family Wellness, providing culturally informed supports to Black clientele. With a background in social work, Evi has extensive experience in advocating for marginalized groups and promoting equity and inclusion.

Here at KMFW, we acknowledge diversity and cultural identities in our provision of short and long term culturally informed supports to our Black clientele. Our specialty is in culturally suitable counseling, education, research, advocacy on anti-Black racism and systemic oppression, support in navigating community services, and the delivery of culturally informed educational programs and groups for children, youth, adults and seniors.
