Michael Canavin

Michael Canavin has extensive experience in leadership roles within the retail and education sectors. At KinderCare Education, Michael served as President of both KinderCare Learning Centers and Creme de la Creme Learning Centers, as well as holding positions as Senior Vice President and Regional Vice President. Prior to this, Michael held various leadership roles at Family Dollar, including Divisional Vice President and Regional Vice President, overseeing operations for hundreds of stores and managing significant sales volumes. Michael began his career at Mervyns, where as Regional Vice President, managed operations in the Southwest Region and significantly increased sales, while also holding District Manager positions that involved successful store turnarounds. Michael holds a Master of Arts in Psychology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Florida State University.
