Parent Education and Family Support Manager at Kindering

Cristina Wheatley, M.Ed. has been working in the field of early childhood education since 2000. From 2000 to 2008, they worked as an Early Childhood Consultant/Parent Coach for their own business, providing parent/teacher coaching, consultation, and training to families of children of all ages. From 2008 to 2011, they served as an Early Care and Education Consultant for Kindering, part of a multi-disciplinary, therapeutic early intervention team serving birth-to-three year old children with developmental delays and disabilities and their families. From 2011 to 2018, they worked as a Consultant for Child Care Resources, providing early childhood mental health and special needs consultation to child care centers across east King County, WA. In 2016, they also worked as a National Sales Manager for Educa Ltd, working independently from home and managing most aspects of building a business. In 2018, they returned to Kindering as the Parent Education and Family Support Manager and the Child Care and Preschool Consultation Manager.

Cristina Wheatley, M.Ed. has a diverse education background. Cristina obtained their Master of Education (M.Ed.) from the University of Washington, specializing in Early Childhood/Special Education. Cristina also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Psychology from Santa Clara University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the same institution. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor's degree from Santa Clara University with no specified field of study. Lastly, they are a Certified Advanced Trainer in Transforming the Difficult Child, The Nurtured Heart Approach, which was obtained from the Childrens Success Foundation.
