Early Support Speech Language Pathologist at Kindering

Sara Gratz, M.S., CCC-SLP has extensive experience in speech language pathology. Sara began their career in 2013 as a Volunteer Research Assistant at the Aphasia Research Lab at the University of Washington. In 2014, they became a Speech Language Pathology Graduate Clinician at the University of Washington Speech and Hearing Clinic, where they evaluated and treated children and adults with a variety of communication disorders. In 2016, they were a Speech Language Pathology Intern at Kindering, where they evaluated and treated children age 0-3 with a variety of developmental communication disorders. That same year, they were also a Speech Language Pathology Clinical Fellow at MOSAIC Rehabilitation Inc. and a LEND Trainee in Speech Language Pathology at the University of Washington Center on Human Development and Disability. In 2017, they were a Speech Language Pathologist at Class, Inc., where they conducted treatment and evaluations of children and adults with communication disorders. Finally, in 2018, they became a Speech Language Pathologist at the University of Washington Autism Center, where they conducted treatment and evaluations of children and young adults with autism spectrum disorder and related communication disorders.

Sara Gratz, M.S., CCC-SLP obtained their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Washington between 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from the University of Washington between 2008 and 2014. Sara also attended Burlington-Edison High School from 2004 to 2008. In addition to their educational qualifications, Sara Gratz has obtained certifications in More Than Words from The Hanen Centre in October 2019, Advanced Research Training from Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, second edition (ADOS-2) in January 2019, The SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) Approach to Feeding from STAR Institute for Sensory Processing Disorder in June 2018, Introduction to PROMPT from The PROMPT Institute in January 2017, HIPAA Compliance Training from Health Care Compliance Strategies (HCCS) in May 2013, and BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED) from American Heart Association in December 2018.
