Carla Boeren

Carla Boeren has extensive experience in communication and policy within various non-profit organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Communication Advisor at Stichting Humanitas Rotterdam en Rijnmond since October 2017, Carla has also held the position of Head of Communication & Information/Policy Officer for Volunteer Work at Stichting Humanitas since November 1998. Carla was a co-founder of Stichting Dolfijn Vakanties, which operated from June 1998 to December 2000, and contributed as a Policy Officer/Researcher/Communication Officer at Stichting Het Buitenhof from November 1989 to November 1997. Carla holds a Master’s degree in Cultural Anthropology from Universiteit Utrecht, obtained between 1981 and 1987, and completed studies at Utrecht University from 1977 to 1981.
