Nilay Mehrotra

Nilay Mehrotra has a diverse work experience, starting as a Summer Internship at DC Design in 2014, where they worked on India's first supercar project, Dc Avanti, and received mentoring from Mr. Dilip Chabbria. Nilay then joined DC Design as an Engineer in 2015, where they were involved in new product engineering, vendor development, and component design review.

In 2016, Nilay founded CharIoT Tech, an Industrial AI and IoT company focused on disrupting the manufacturing industry. Nilay successfully built the business from a startup, raised funding, and served as the Founder and CEO until 2019. During this time, they developed AI and IoT-driven operational excellence software to improve the availability, reliability, and performance of critical assets in the industry.

In 2017, Nilay also became a Founding Director of SenRa, a leading LoraWan network operator in India, specializing in smart cities, logistics, and industrial IoT. Nilay played a vital role in hiring the core team for SenRa.

Nilay continued their entrepreneurial journey as a Founder (YC W22) at Kindly, a startup accelerator, since December 2020. Nilay later became the Founder and CEO of Kindly in June 2022.

Additionally, Nilay joined the Young Entrepreneur Council (YEC) in 2022 as a member. YEC is an invitation-only organization consisting of successful entrepreneurs under 45 years old, contributing to various industries and generating significant revenue.
