Ken Kato

Ken Kato is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in DevSecOps, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture. Currently serving as the Chief Security Officer at Kindo and Vice President of DevSecOps & AI at Omni Federal, Ken previously contributed as an Entrepreneur in Residence at the White House Presidential Innovation Fellows. Ken founded the DevOps development platform Black Pearl at DON Black Pearl, delivering significant solutions for the Department of the Navy on a limited budget. Additional roles include serving as an Entrepreneur in Residence with the US Navy, and as an Enterprise Architect at Kessel Run, where Ken helped implement agile development practices within the USAF. Ken's early career includes a significant tenure at MITRE as a DevOps and Enterprise Architect and founding Ken Kato Consulting, focusing on improving supply chain efficiency across multiple industries. Ken's expertise is further demonstrated through roles in cybersecurity engineering at MIT Lincoln Laboratory and infrastructure architecture at Pivot, Inc., where Ken played a key role in the company's growth and eventual acquisition by CME Group.
