Duncan Iglesias, P.Eng.

Duncan Iglesias, P.Eng. has a diverse work experience in various industries. Duncan started their career as a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op at newterra ltd. in 2010. Duncan then interned as a Mechanical Reliability Engineering Internship at INVISTA from 2011 to 2012. In 2015, they worked as a Biomedical Research Engineer at Lawson Research Institute. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Mechanical/Software Engineer at Arkbro Industries. In 2017, they co-founded AVO - Autonomous Vehicle Organization and served as its CTO. In 2019, they joined Kepler Communications Inc. as a Software Engineer and later became a Software Engineer II. Currently, since 2021, they work as a Software Engineer at Kindred.

Duncan Iglesias, P.Eng. holds a diverse educational background in engineering and computer science. In 2008, they began their undergraduate studies at Queen's University where they pursued Mechanical Engineering. Duncan successfully completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2013.

To further their expertise, Duncan continued their education at Western University from 2013 to 2015, where they pursued a Masters of Engineering Science (MESc) degree. During this time, they specialized in Biomedical Engineering with a Collaboration in Musculoskeletal Health Research (CMHR). This program provided Duncan with a deep understanding of the intersection between engineering and medical research.

In 2015, Duncan embarked on their Bachelor of Science studies in Computer Science at Western University, which they partially completed in 2016. In 2017, Duncan pursued a Self Driving Car Engineer Nanodegree from Udacity, a reputable online educational platform. This program equipped him with advanced skills and knowledge in the field of engineering, specifically focusing on self-driving car technology.
