Joshua Lockwood

Joshua Lockwood has a diverse work experience. Joshua is currently working as a Software Engineer at Kindred since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Intel Corporation from October 2017 to July 2021. In this role, they programmed in C++ and Python, developed and tested deep learning accelerators for various applications such as self-driving cars, financial analysis, and search engines. Before joining Intel Corporation, Joshua worked as a Developer at Perimeter Medical Imaging AI from January 2016 to April 2017. In this role, they worked with breast cancer histology and optical coherence tomography (OCT) images, developed image processing algorithms in Python, and tested and verified their work using histology slides.

Joshua Lockwood earned a Master's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Toronto between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Queen's University, from 2011 to 2015.
