Wania Jibran, E.I.T., MSc

Wania Jibran has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They currently work as a Product Manager at Kindred, Part of Ocado Group, starting in November 2022. Prior to this, Wania worked as a Director and Mentor for the Female Engineering Mentorship (FEM) Program at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Alberta, starting in September 2018.

Subsequently, they proceeded to pursue a Master of Science (MS) in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, completing their studies in 2021. Alongside their academic pursuits, Wania has also obtained additional certifications to further enhance their professional qualifications. In January 2020, they became an Engineer In Training (E.I.T.) through The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA). Furthermore, in October 2020, Wania achieved certification as a Certified Member (CM) from the Golden Key International Honour Society. Additionally, they hold a membership with the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) as a Student Member.
