Yervant Kulbashian

Yervant Kulbashian has extensive work experience in various technology-related roles. Yervant began their career as a Contract Web Programmer at 1DegreeBio in 2011. Yervant then worked as an Android Developer at Fixmo in 2013, where they incorporated the Android ICS Browser into a container application and implemented custom Dex-splitting design. In the same year, they joined Pivotal Labs as an Agile Team Lead.

In 2012, Yervant worked at Xtreme Labs Inc. as a Mobile Application Developer, where they contributed to projects such as a kiosk application using a REST API linked to a cached SQLite database and a mobile customer banking application for a major Canadian bank. Yervant also worked on a large-scale social networking application for Windows 8.

Yervant joined BNOTIONS in 2015 as a Senior Android Developer and later became the Mobile Application Lead at Shopify in 2016. At STACK, where they served as the Chief Technology Officer from 2017 to 2018, Yervant led a team of engineers and built a secure, scalable infrastructure for financial transactions. Yervant successfully integrated the platform with 3rd-party payment processors and performed KYC and AML/fraud checks.

In 2018, Yervant briefly worked with Bitcoin Bay Corp as a Consulting CTO before joining Ritual.co in 2019, where they served as a Senior Engineering Manager until 2020. Currently, they are an Engineering Manager, AI Platform at Kindred Powered by Ocado.

Yervant Kulbashian completed their high school education at Earl Haig, focusing on Fine/Studio Arts, General. Yervant then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Queens University, which they completed from 2006 to 2010.
