Shane Kemplin

Shane Kemplin, ASQ-CMQ/OE, has over 25 years of experience in quality management roles. Beginning in 1994 at Digitron as a Quality Systems Engineer, they have held positions such as Quality Assurance Manager at Accurate Wire Harness and Quality Engineer at ThyssenKrupp Bilstein of America. More recently, they served as the Director of Global Quality and Compliance at Kinematics and held various quality leadership roles at GKN Aerospace, Triumph Group, RAM Precision Industries, and Systems 3, Inc. Their responsibilities have included overseeing product quality, implementing quality management systems, and driving improvement initiatives in the aerospace, automotive, medical, and other industries.

Shane Kemplin attended South Dakota Mines from 1991 to 1993, focusing on Mechanical Engineering. Shane also studied Quality Assurance at Community College of the Air Force from 1989 to 1993 and Engineering Technologies at Sinclair Community College in 1987-1988. In 2020, they obtained the Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) certification from the America Society for Quality. Shane also holds the Lean / 6 Sigma Black Belt certification from GE Aviation in 2007 and the IAQG-Sanctioned 9100:2016 Aerospace Auditor Transition Training Certification from the INTERNATIONAL AEROSPACE QUALITY GROUP in 2024.
