Ir. Mohd Fakhrul Abdul Rasid

Ir. Mohd Fakhrul Abdul Rasid has extensive work experience in the field of electrical engineering and maintenance. Ir. Mohd Fakhrul started their career in 2006 as a Co-ordinator CME at CMRS Sdn Bhd, and then worked as a Business Development Executive at Basecore Sdn Bhd in 2007. Ir. Mohd Fakhrul later joined Sime Darby Utilities Sdn. Bhd. in 2011 as an Electrical Engineer, where they were responsible for maintaining a 440MW Open Cycle Gas Turbine Power Plant. In 2011, they also joined Malakoff Berhad as an Electrical & Instruments Engineer, where they continued to maintain power plants and troubleshoot electrical system problems. From 2016 to 2020, they worked at Kapar Energy Ventures Sdn Bhd as a Senior Engineer and Senior Electrical Engineer, managing maintenance and operation, ensuring plant reliability, and developing improvement projects. Ir. Mohd Fakhrul then moved to Senoko Energy in 2020 as an Electrical Engineer, responsible for leading maintenance teams and ensuring plant performance. Currently, Ir. Mohd Fakhrul Abdul Rasid is working as the Head of Operations (AVP) at KINETA.

Ir. Mohd Fakhrul Abdul Rasid holds a degree in Electrical Power Engineering from Universiti Tenaga Nasional, which they obtained from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed a diploma in Electrical Power Engineering from the same university, from 2003 to 2005. Ir. Mohd Fakhrul also attended Sekolah Menengah Teknik Dungun from 2000 to 2002, where they studied Electrical Engineering. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications in areas such as workplace safety, thermography, and engineering. This includes certifications such as Professional Engineer and First Aider.
