Mechanical Design Engineer at Kinetic Pressure Control

Austin Dickerson has a diverse work experience in various industries. Austin started their career as a Roustabout Hand at Acme Oilfield Services in 2014, where they installed artificial lifts and conducted repairs on pumping units. In 2016, they interned at CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System's Construction Division, where they developed clinic renovation plans and mediated interactions between contractors and end users. In 2017, Dickerson worked at Trane as a Platform Development Co-Op, managing a VAVE project that resulted in $400,000 savings and designing universal sheet metal components for gas furnaces. Austin then joined Capstone Collegiate Communities in 2018 as a Leasing Agent before becoming a Peer Tutor at Texas A&M University's Department of Mechanical Engineering, where they evaluated student work and relayed progress to the professor. From 2019 to 2023, Dickerson worked as a Mechanical Engineer at National Oilwell Varco, specializing in the field of mechanical engineering. Currently, they are a Mechanical Design Engineer at Kinetic Pressure Control.

Austin Dickerson attended Texas A&M University from 2014 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
