Nur Uddin

Nur Uddin has diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and machine learning. Nur is currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer (Team Lead) at Kinetik since July 2022. In this role, they are responsible for leading a team, participating in sprint planning, and making decisions regarding future development of the product. Prior to this, Nur worked at Kinetik as a Software Engineer III from May 2019 to June 2022. During this time, they contributed to various projects such as implementing asynchronous file upload and processing using AWS services, automating claims creation, and integrating Banquest payment for smoother payment processes.

Before joining Kinetik, Nur gained experience as a Machine Learning Engineer (Trainee) at Hyperdine Corporation from October 2018 to April 2019. Nur developed a Natural Image Classifier using CNN and Tensorflow, created a predictive model for predicting cherry blooming dates in Tokyo, and built a house price prediction model using various approaches.

Nur's earlier experience includes working as a Junior Software Engineer at IPvision Canada Inc from December 2016 to September 2018 and as a Software Engineer at BJIT in November 2016.

Nur Uddin completed their B.Sc.(Engg.) in Computer Science & Engineering from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, from the year 2012 to 2016. In addition to their degree, they obtained certifications in various areas such as Secure Application Development (Password Hygiene, Memory Management, OWASP 2021 Top 10 Security Awareness Refresher, Protecting Source Code), PrivacyBasics, SecurityAwarenessFundamentals, and Data Structures from institutions like KnowBe4 and Coursera. Nur obtained these certifications between the years 2017 and 2022.
