Austin Wight

Austin Wight has a diverse range of work experience in the energy industry. Austin is currently working at Kinetik as the Senior Director, Commercial, a position they started in January 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Director, Commercial at Kinetik from February 2022 to January 2023.

Before joining Kinetik, Austin worked at EagleClaw Midstream, where they held the position of Director, Commercial from July 2019 to January 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Commercial Representative at EagleClaw Midstream from June 2017 to June 2019.

Austin also worked at EnLink Midstream as a Commercial Representative from May 2015 to June 2017. In this role, they were responsible for analyzing and developing gas supply and project focus, as well as making recommendations for business development opportunities.

Additionally, Austin gained experience at Coronado Midstream as a Commercial Analyst from September 2014 to May 2015, where they were responsible for analyzing commercial contract portfolios and supporting contract negotiations.

Before that, they worked at Exterran as an Application Engineer from January 2014 to September 2014. In this role, they developed financial, commercial, and technical solutions for compression package proposals and provided technical support for field operations. Austin also participated in Exterran's Sales and Operations Development Program from January 2013 to December 2013.

Austin started their career at Cholla Petroleum Inc. as a Corporate Production Rotation Intern in June 2012, where they gained exposure to various aspects of petroleum production.

Austin Wight attended Baylor University - Hankamer School of Business from 2009 to 2012. Austin obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus in Finance and a concentration in Geological Studies.
