Joel Knip

Joel Knip is an experienced media professional with a career spanning over two decades in sports and news production. Since May 2004, Joel has served as a Sports & Digital Producer at KING 5 Media Group, where responsibilities include managing and updating sports-related content for the leading multi-media station in the market, as well as creating and editing video stories. Prior to this role, Joel worked at KDLT from 1999 to 2004, initially as News Director, overseeing the station's style and news content, and later as Executive News Producer, contributing to significant changes in the station’s overall presentation. Joel holds a degree from Washington State University - Edward R. Murrow College of Communication and studied at Bellevue College.
