Dr. Sulaiman Alqahtani د.سليمان القحطاني

Dr. Sulaiman Alqahtani is currently a Committee Member in the Faculty of Economics and Management at King AbdulAziz University since February 2025. Previously, Dr. Alqahtani served as General Manager of Policies and Legislation Development at the Government Expenditure & Projects Efficiency Authority from December 2019 to March 2025, where a high-performing team consistently exceeded performance targets and developed governance frameworks for the Public Investment Management structure. Additional roles included Senior Manager for Policies and Strategic Studies, focusing on the assessment and enhancement of public investment management policies, and Senior Advisor on the CEO Advisory Team, where partnerships and sponsorship strategies were defined. Dr. Alqahtani's academic background includes a PhD in Information Systems from Curtin University and ongoing Executive Education at INSEAD, complemented by a Master’s degree from Curtin University and a Bachelor’s degree from Murdoch University. Previous academic experience includes roles as an Academic Researcher at Curtin University and a Lecturer at the Australian School of Management.
