Dr. Tareef Alaama, FACP CPE, currently serves as the President of King AbdulAziz University since February 2024 and holds various prominent positions, including Board Member of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority and Western Region Board Member for Health Co. Since 2019, Dr. Alaama has been an Adjunct Associate Professor at Alfaisal University. Dr. Alaama is a member of the American College of Physician Leadership and has been awarded the status of Certified Physician Executive in 2020. Notably, Dr. Alaama served as Chairperson of the General Monitoring Board for Mental Health Care until February 2024 and worked as a Consultant in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics at King Fahad Medical City from 2017 to February 2024. Dr. Alaama's extensive education includes a Doctor of Medicine from King AbdulAziz University and advanced business training from prestigious institutions such as Harvard Business School and MIT.
