Salman Hosawi

Salman Hosawi PhD serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Science and an Associate Professor at King AbdulAziz University since January 2009, specializing in biochemistry. Salman leads the Center of Artificial Intelligence for Research and Innovation in Precision Medicine, established in 2020, which aims to advance AI applications in healthcare. Additionally, Salman has held positions such as Deputy Manager for commercialization and marketing at the Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Head of the Biochemistry department, and Head of the Mutagens and Carcinogens unit at King Fahad Medical Research Center. Educational qualifications include a PhD and MSc in Biochemistry from The University of Manchester and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from King AbdulAziz University.
