Dr. Khalid A Salman

Dr. Khalid A Salman serves as the Executive Director of Research & Innovation at King Abdullah Medical City (KAMC) in Makkah since 2011, holding multiple positions including Consultant in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology, Chairman of the Knowledge Management and Bioethics Committees, and Director of the Research Center. During the tenure at Makkah Healthcare Cluster from October 2021 to December 2023, Dr. Salman continued leadership in research and innovation. Previously, leadership roles included Chairman of the board of directors for the Saudi Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging and key positions within various training programs at the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties from 2013 to 2021. Dr. Salman’s earlier career includes critical roles in renowned medical institutions, with educational qualifications including a Bachelor Degree of Medicine & Surgery from King Saud University and multiple fellowships in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT Imaging from prestigious institutions.
