Sam Pawlikowski is an experienced educator and professional with a diverse background spanning education and customer success in the tech industry. Currently serving as a Social Studies Teacher at King-Chavez Neighborhood of Schools since August 2021, Sam previously held positions such as Enterprise Customer Success Manager at Unbxd Inc., and Client Success Manager at Certona, both focused on enhancing eCommerce experiences. Earlier career roles include Deployment Manager and Account Development Manager at Tealium, and a Management Trainee at Expeditors. Sam earned a Master of Education in Teaching and Learning from the High Tech High Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Salisbury University.

Welcome home to King-Chavez Neighborhood of Schools! King-Chavez Neighborhood of Schools is comprised of 5 public charter schools, serving students from TK through 12th grade. Each unique school was born out of community need in the Historic Barrio District and Downtown neighborhoods of San Diego. At King-Chavez schools, educating students involves more than the mastery of daily lessons. An unwavering personal investment is made in every student in every school, rooted from a foundation of love. We help our students discover their own path, with the hope that they will, in turn, return to work in and grow their community. Our mission is simple, yet powerful: We seek excellence in academics, arts, and athletics from the foundation of love. We encourage our teachers to express their creativity through innovative curriculum, share and collaborate with others, and participate in continuous professional development. Our TK through high school matriculation lets us become truly invested in “our” children. Through our Alumni Association, we support them well into their future as adults: whether that be college or career.
