Jeff Simms currently serves as the Senior Director for Policy at the King County Regional Homelessness Authority, a position held since June 2022. Prior to this role, Jeff worked as Central Staff for the Seattle City Council from August 2018 to June 2022 and as a Senior Program Analyst at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services from August 2012 to August 2018, focusing on budget and economic support policies. Additional experience includes a tenure as Program Examiner at the Office of Management and Budget in 2014 and as Regional Director for Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago from 2008 to 2012. Jeff's early career involved interning with the City of Chicago's Department of Family and Support Services and directing youth ministry at St. Luke Parish. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in International Studies and Theology from Loyola University Chicago.
