Katara J. Jordan

Senior Director Of The Ombuds Office at King County Regional Homelessness Authority

Katara J. Jordan is currently the Senior Director of the Ombuds Office at the King County Regional Homelessness Authority, a position held since December 2021. Prior to this role, Katara served as the Senior Manager for Policy & Advocacy at Building Changes from August 2016 to November 2021 and was an Affiliate Instructor at the University of Washington School of Law for a fall 2020 seminar on legislation and public policy. Katara's legal experience includes serving as a Staff Attorney for the Children and Youth Project at Columbia Legal Services and as an Equal Justice Works Homeless Education Fellow. In addition, Katara worked as a Resiliency Services Coordinator at the UCLA Nathanson Family Resilience Center.
